Glenn Newbeck was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii and has called Houston his home for more than 20 years. He attended university in New York City and paid his way through college by working at American Park. He is often described as determined, hardworking, and passionate and this couldn’t be any truer.
While mastering the art of service, Glenn’s discovery of Clos de St. Hune by Trimback taught him that wine is an experience and not just a drink. Glenn’s love for wine has driven him to become a Level Two Sommelier, as well as working with James McPhail at the Grapewagon Custom Crush in California.
Glenn’s experience is deeply rooted in wine and hospitality. He has managed wine bars, held the role of director of food and beverage at the Golf Club of Houston and worked as the assistant sommelier at the Lakeside Country Club, before its devastation by Hurricane Harvey.
When he’s not handling the day-to-day at the restaurant, Glenn enjoys playing beach volleyball, and enjoying a Sunday filled with food, fun, and friends.
